Mild-Moderate Dementia

Moundsley

The term 'dementia' is used to describe the symptoms that occur when the brain is affected by specific diseases and conditions. Dementia is a global and progressive deterioration of the mental faculties and effects memory, intellect, judgment, personality, and emotional control. It is progressive which means that the symptoms will gradually get worse. In the later stages of dementia, the person affected will have problems carrying out everyday tasks and will become increasingly dependent on other people.

Moundsley Hall offers care that can meet the changing and complex needs of people with dementia.
