About Moundsley Hall
Moundsley Hall Nursing and Residential Home has been open since 6th June 1996. It is a purpose built Home which was designed by Cross & Craig Architects and built by the owners who have been managing the village since this date.
In 2006 we added an extra 15 bedroom resedential Unit - Clarence House, increasing our registration to 54 Nursing beds and 15 Residential beds.
In 2010 this was increased to include Kensington House, a 30 bedded purpose built residential unit on the same site.
The autumn of 2011 saw the addition of another 30 bedroomed unit providing Nursing Care called Buckingham House. Shortly afterwards in Spring 2012 Kenilworth House was opened delivering Nursing Dementia Care to 30 residents, along with Blenheim House which is a smaller 15 bedroomed Residential Unit with no Dementia. These more recent Homes have 24 sq m bedrooms with connecting private wet room en-suites, the largest by far in the area.
Moundsley Hall Care Village is set within six acres of tranquil, landscaped grounds in Kings Norton. Our unique location, accessed by a tree-lined avenue, provides a country setting whilst enjoying the amenities of an urban location.
The overall purpose of Moundsley Hall is to provide residents with the highest standard of care, comfort and security, promoting independence as appropriate, in a friendly, tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished environment.
A team approach to planning and implementing care is employed, the principle aim being “holistic” to ensure privacy, respect and dignity at all times. Residents are involved where appropriate in the planning of their care and daily activities to enable them to achieve a full and enhanced quality of life.
Our staff aspire to create an environment that is conducive to wellbeing with good communication between residents and their families offering sympathy, understanding and support.
